HOTEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions of contract apply from the moment of inquiry for the booking of the accommodation at the Hotel and/or using the services of Hotel Restaurant or Caffe Bar. Online booking of the Guest implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. In these terms and conditions, the expression ‘The guest’ refers to the person, firm or company inquiring about booking the accommodation at the Hotel and/or using the services of Hotel, Restaurant or Caffe Bar.

Check-in/ Check-out Requirements

Check In: from 14:00 p.m.

Check Out: until 11:00 a.m.

Late check out is possible only after confirmation from the reception.

The Hotel does not accommodate persons under 18 years of age unless they are accompanied by an adult person (over 18 years).

In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their passport, identity card or a driving licence.

Bookings and payment method

VAT is included in the room rate.

Additional services and city tax are not included in the room rate.

City tax is stated in the local currency (HRK).

Children under the age of 12 are excluded from the city tax, while children aged 12-18 pay at a discounted rate of 50%.

The amount of the city tax is indicated on the bill which is issued to the Guest upon calculation and payment of services.

Exchange rates are applicable at time of reservation, but are subject to currency fluctuations and billing will be at the prevailing exchange rate upon completion of your stay.

Hotel reserves all the rights to pre-authorise the credit card when a credit card is used as a reservation guarantee method.

Please note that the maximum number of people per accommodation unit is one or two people. Please contact the Hotel directly for additional beds before reservation, as there is usually no space to accommodate an extra bed.

Cancellations & No-show charges

In case of cancellation inside 48 hours before arrival, we will apply a cancellation fee of 100 % of the first day of reservation value and reservation will be automatically cancelled.

In case of no show, we charge a cancellation fee of 100 % of the reservation value. If your booking is made via a third party platform such as Booking.com or Expedia then different terms may apply and you will need to contact the third party that you booked with in order to organise a cancellation or refund.

Advertising

Considering the existing differences between rooms even of the same type, the photographs are only for illustration and information, and may not correspond to the actual reserved room.

Guests wishing to use Hotel photographs, details of the Hotel or its telephone number in any publication or advertisements must obtain written permission from the Hotel prior to doing so.

Damage

We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel during your stay and for any items that are missing when you leave.

Ban on smoking in the Hotel

Hotel As is a non-smoking Hotel. It is thus prohibited to smoke either in the common areas or the guest rooms. In the event of an infringement, Hotel As has the right to demand an amount of 40,00€ (300,00 HRK), as well as any loss in turnover due to the room being unavailable. The amount of damages charged may be higher, if Hotel As proves a higher amount of damage.

Food and drink brought into the Hotel

In the common areas, it is prohibited to consume food and drinks which have been brought along. Breakfast can only be consumed in the facilities intended for this (restaurant). It is prohibited to prepare food in the Hotel rooms.

Pets

Pets and other animals are not allowed in the Hotel.

Domiciliary right

Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Hotel procedures and requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accomodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

Parking

Parking for cars and motorcycles is free of charge for the guests of the Hotel.

Parking for minibuses, buses and larger vehicles is charged by the price list set by the Hotel.

Hotel parking has a limited spaces available and space may not be available for the duration of your stay. All vehicles and their contents are left at the owner’s/customer’s own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
